    These traditional English pork pies recently won an award in the Cuisine Artisan Awards for 2012. The winning meat – tender free-farmed pork from North Canterbury’s Cressy Farm – is mixed with a secret combination of herbs and spices, then encased in a traditional hot water pastry.

The annual Taste Farmers Markets Awards have officially begun to Taste the nation's best independant Farmers' Market food producers and let localvore's vote for the Farmers' Markets that have turned the weekly shop into thriving community events. One lucky voter will also be jetting off to Melbourne for their own private tour of Victoria's Authentic Farmers' Market over a mouthwatering long weekend.
